I studied at the Royal Academy of Music, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and London University. I have been working as a highly successful professional pianist in the UK and internationally since 1985. As an educator I have been teaching/examining for many years at institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College of Music (professor of Jazz Piano) Guildhall School of Music and Drama, currently Senior Lecturer at Leeds College of Music. A number of my students have won national awards and scholarships
