I am a qualified teacher of dyslexics with the AMBDA qualification and have been teaching primary and secondary school pupils with dyslexia for 12 years. I have no experience of teaching adults but this should not prove a barrier to success. r nPupils have always gained success and an improved self image and parents have always been pleased with my involvement. r nI use good assessment packages to establish a baseline knowledge and ability as well as the teaching programme. r nI use a multi sensory teaching approach and work on knowledge and skills necessary for reading and spelling.
