I tutor english and maths for primary to lower secondary and phonics for children and adults. I aim to make each lesson light and fun but effective too. I take care to adapt my teaching methods to each student s needs. For example I find out exactly what the student does not understand or is struggling with and remedying this rather than robotically teaching them. I work to ensure that they attain good understanding and ability to apply what they learn and therefore more enjoyment of the subject. I usually work near the city centre but can do home tutoring if required within a 5 mile radius.
