I have a first-class degree, with honours, in mathematics from the University of Birmingham, along with A-levels in maths, further maths and physics (all grade A). Since leaving university in the summer of 2010 I have been tutoring GCSE and A-level students in maths. Having been a student quite recently, I can still remember the types of problems that I used to encounter and how best to tackle them, in particular how to succeed in exams.
