I have a degree in Humanties from the Open University and an MA in Shakespeare Studies from the Shakespeare Institute (University of Birmingham). I taught the Open University Shakespeare Course for 2 years and lectured at Warwick University. I worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company for 5 years and have written and directed plays. My specialist area is Shakespeare in Performance both stage and film.
