I am a native Russian speaker originally from Moscow. Now I live in Plymouth and teach Russian at a Plymouth Grammar School.
I taught Russian Language and Literature, as well as History of Fine Arts, in Moscow for about 20 years. I have been teaching Russian in Plymouth since 2001. Apart from secondary school, I have taught at Plymouth University, WEA and also had private students.
My students sat exams at GCSE, AS and A levels and never got marks lower than B, but most had A or A*.
My teaching style is friendly and we can always go at your own pace. My teaching comprises development of all major language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. My approach is mostly interactive. It also includes a few elements of Russian grammar to structure learning. We can use a wide range of teaching materials to suit your individual needs. The course may incorporate elements of Russian culture (Russian lifestyle, literature, arts and tourist information) at your request.
