My approach is relaxed, friendly and flexible. It is important that the tutorials suit the learner and as such I like to plan a few goals with the student (and parent if applicable). In some cases it is useful to concentrate on day to day struggles with classwork in many others it is good to concentrate on specific goals, usually related to an examination specification.
