I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 1st class honours degree in English. Since, I have been a personal tutor working closely with GCSE and A level students in improving their skills in English Language and English Literature. I work closely with them to create a plan of development, including targeted areas of improvement and progress. Patience, clear communication and attention to detail are skills essential to the role and watching students learn and progress provides me with an overwhelming sense of achievement.
