I am a qualified and experienced English teacher, with a passion for my subject and a history of success in my field. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in English, as well as a Certificate for English Language Teaching (CELTA). I work with young learners as well as adults. In addition, I have three years EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teaching experience, three years non-teaching employment, and a degree in English Literature and French. I currently teach English and Drama at an extremely successful school in Norwich. Prior to this, I taught English (language and Literature) at a mixed comprehensive school in Gloucestershire (rated outstanding by OFSTED). I am experienced in teaching SATs, GCSEs and A-levels. I have a dynamic teaching style that engages and motivates students and I create materials and resources for an effective and successful lesson. My lessons push students to reach their maximum potential and to achieve successful results.
