Oxford English Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Oxford University, with an honours degree in English Literature (results pending I achieved a First Class classification in my 1st year exams). As well as English, I can also teach Philosophy, History and Critical Thinking. I enjoy tutoring, and my approach is to facilitate students in reaching clear and specific academic goals through dialogue, rather than simply to lecture or 'spoon-feed' students. I am a friendly, well-organised and efficient person. I expect to begin a PGCE in 2012, and my intention is to enter the teaching profession. References available on request.

I charge £20 per hour for A-Level students and adult learners, £18 per hour for GCSE students, and £16 per hour for 11-14 year olds. I can teach from my home in Oxford, or at the student s home.
