I began tutoring maths after graduating with a BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Maths 3 years ago. I have recently graduated with a first class honours in Psychology and am carrying out a Masters in Edinburgh where I aim to focus on Educational Psychology. Prior to math tutoring I worked as a swimming teacher with children of all ages and abilities and so I am able to individually tailor the approach I use when tutoring. I believe that patience and alternative examples are the best way for the pupil to achieve their goals, and quite often happily surpass them. I have had a very high success rate with all of my pupils having reached at least a B level in their Higher Maths, with the majority of them achieving As.
I also hold a current Enhanced Disclosure Scotland.
I am a Math graduate from the University of Edinburgh and whilst studying for a degree in Psychology I began math tutoring at Higher level with high levels of success from all of my pupils.
