Hi, my name is Laura and I graduated last year from Bath with a BSc in Mathematics and Computing. I enjoy working with children and find tutoring very rewarding.
In my free time at Universty I tutored students privately for SAT, GCSE and A-Level exams, in Maths as well as other subjects including Science and Technology, and and all were a success.
As it hasn't been too long since I did my own A Level and GCSE exams, I can remember how stressful it can be as well as the best ways of remembering things for exams and what the examiners are looking for. I have a very flexible approach to tutoring and will try to tailor the goals and teaching style to suit the student as much as possible. I try to build up the pupils confidence, especially in maths, and to make it more interesting so that it will stick in their minds. The most important thing is that they feel they are making progress and are comfortable enough to ask questions when they need to.
