I am successful in my approach to tuition as I relate problems in school to and 8220;real-life and 8221; problems and applications, thus helping to motivate the tutee. As a tutor, I need to take the lead from the school/college through the pupil and adapt my basic style and personalise it to the pupil, ensuring that they understand the concepts covered and even setting problems that go beyond the curriculum to and 8220;stretch and 8221; the pupil.
