Whilst my degree is now in theoretical physics, at a university level I have previously joined labs and dabbled in astronomy, logic and the philosophy of science. I also teach maths. r nI have helped a number of friends younger than me to success in high school and am one of the first ones other students turn to for advice or help on my current course. r nI have successfully explained vectors to my seven year old nephew and regularly discuss science, maths, and writing with him. I was also a classroom assistant for science in my final year of high school where I helped a first-year secondary class.
I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at St Andrews University, graduating in 2012 with an expected 2(i). My approach is to improve topic understanding before the usual ringing in of algorithms.
