I have twenty-five years of experience as an educator in curriculum development, museum education, archaeology and cultural heritage education and most recently as a private tutor and educational consultant in Devon. I bring to my teaching of all key stage subjects my broad and interesting background in archaeology and art history from around the world, and in this way I am able to make the private tuition experience enjoyable, interesting and relevant to pupils of all ages.
My knowledge of Classical Greek and Roman language helps to inform my teaching of English to both native and non-native speakers. I am fluent in French and have a good working knowledge of German. At present I am learning Polish so that I can improve communications between myself and the many new arrivals to this country from Eastern Europe to whom I teach English as a Second Language.
